Kenya
In January 2012 with a team of six others, I will be going to Kenya to work with Missions of Hope in Kisumu Ndogo, just outside of Nairobi. We will run a medical clinic and also train men & women there in entrepreneurship for those who are wanting to get involved with micro-finance. I’ll also be teaching sewing classes to those who express an interest in starting their own sewing business.

How you can support the cause
- Attend KENYA COFFEE & TEA Fri. Dec. 16, 7-9pm at Jessalyn’s studio!
- 100% profit (minus shipping & minor Etsy fees) from the purchase of any of the Exodus Painting Series prints goes towards Kenya. Purchase here.
- Anything made with authentic African fabric will support the funding of Jessalyn’s trip to Kenya. Browse here.
- Don a scrub cap! Visit www.skrubkapsforkenya.com to support two other gals on the team.
- Donate fabric for us to give & use for classes. Perhaps I’ll bring some African threads back to you.
- Pray for our trip, for our hearts, for safety, and for those we go to serve.
Plane tickets are reserved and vaccinations are working as we are a mere three months away from departure! Thank you for your support as we prepare for a life-changing trip. Email flewtstrings@gmail.com with any questions or ideas for fundraising or for the trip itself. A great partnership is underway.
